DESCRIPTION

You've taken some great photos with your digital camera; now what? Post-production of course!

This class teaches beginner and expert photographers how to organize, develop, edit, retouch, and share your photos with Adobe Lightroom Classic. Students will start with the fundamentals and finish with a comprehensive workflow they can use to take their photos from RAW to WOW every time!

Topics covered include interface basics, importing photos, cropping, adjusting exposure, recovering highlights, color balance, sharpening, masking, AI, retouching portraits, enhancing landscapes and exporting for printing, emailing, and social media. To get the most out of this course it is recommended that you use photos from a camera that can shoot in RAW format.

Students have the opportunity to continue their studies at home with the accompanying course website. The website is packed with slides, links, resources, and practice quizzes that students may view at their own pace to reinforce topics covered during class sessions.

REQUIREMENTS AND WHAT TO BRING

As this course takes place in a standard classroom, students are required to provide their own fully charged laptop (no tablets or smart phones) with Adobe Lightroom Classic preinstalled.

Basic computer skills such as moving, copying, downloading, organizing and storing files, creating and organizing folders, and copying files from your cameras memory card are required to take this course.

I notice that there are 2 versions of Lightroom, is Lightroom CC the same as Lightroom Classic?  No it is not...Lightroom CC is an abbreviated version of Lightroom designed to run on smartphones, tablets, and the web. For this course you will need to have Lightroom Classic whose icon looks like this . Both versions are included with the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan.

Lightroom Classic is included with the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan purchased from Adobe and costs $11.99/mo, it includes both Adobe Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. Click here to be taken to the Adobe website to purchase or receive more information.

Please ensure you have the Classic version of the software installed on your laptop prior to attending the first session.
